April 20, 2026, 88, Magnolia – Mrs. Christine Emilie Riedel Ezzell passed away Monday evening, April 20, 2026, at the home of a daughter. She was 88.
Mrs. Ezzell, was a long time parishoner at St. Mary’s of the Angels Catholic Church at Mount Olive. She was retired from Lundy’s Packing Company where she was a meat cutter.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Armatys and Sylvia Gillis, both of Magnolia, James Ezzell, also of Magnolia, and Chuck Ezzell of Texas; a brother, Horstlyn Riedel of Germany; grandchildren, Ashley Singley, Kristy Sessoms, Patrick Armatys, Tyler Armatys, and Victoria Armatys; and great-grandchildren, Lucas Singley and Lathan Cashwell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Ezzell; and her parents, Gustav and Emilie Riedel.
Private services will be held and attended to by the family.
