April 16, 2026, 77, Grantham – William Thomas Fowler, age 77, of the Grantham community, answered the Master’s call on April 16, 2026, while he was a patient at Wayne-UNC Healthcare. Thomas was born in Marion, SC, to the late William & Louise Smith Fowler.
Thomas proudly served his country by serving 6 years in the U.S. Navy.
Thomas survived by his wife of 30 years, Rose Thornton Fowler, Children, Tommy Fowler and wife Nancy, Eric Fowler, Randy Fowler and Dana Fowler. Also surviving is his siblings Francis Attaway and Randy Fowler. Numerous dear friends and extended family members also survive.
The family will celebrate his life privately.
