April 16, 2026, 62, Goldsboro – Alexander Jones, 62, departed this walk of life Thursday morning, April 16, 2026 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
He was born in Wilson County on May 19, 1963 to the late John Miller Taylor and Beulah Mae Jones Taylor. He was employed with Dillard Academy Charter School in Goldsboro as their custodian and will be missed.
Alexander leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Oriell Williams; his siblings, Shirley Jones Wooten (Tyron), John Taylor Jr. (Lisa), Angela Hatch (Chris) and Toya Taylor and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Oteria Williams and his brother, Thomas Parker.
