PET OF THE WEEK: Jacob powered by Jackson & Sons

GOLDSBORO, NC — This week’s WGBR Pet of the Week powered by Jackson & Sons, shines the spotlight on Jacob, a lovable 2-year-old male Shepherd mix who’s ready to find the family he’s been patiently waiting for.

Jacob stands out with his gorgeous golden-brown and white coat, but it’s his gentle spirit that truly wins hearts. At just two years old, he has the perfect balance of youthful energy and growing maturity, making him a wonderful companion for an active individual or family.

Shelter staff say Jacob has been patiently waiting for his fur-ever home, greeting each day with hope and a wagging tail. He enjoys attention, thrives on companionship, and would love nothing more than a place to call his own.
By adopting Jacob, you’re not just gaining a loyal friend — you’re giving a deserving dog the second chance he’s been dreaming of.

Those interested in meeting Jacob or learning more about adoption can contact the Wayne County Animal Shelter. One visit could be all it takes to turn Jacob’s wait into a happy ending.
