December 4, 2025, 86, Goldsboro — Betty McClenny Case, 86, peacefully passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

She is survived by her son, Tracy Case, and his wife, Crystal; two grandchildren, Landon Case and wife, Kyleigh, and Wesley Case and fiancée, Alyssa; and two great-grandchildren, Ira and Aletta. Betty also leaves behind her brother, Bill McClenny of Goldsboro.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Junie and Hattie McClenny, and by three sisters: Mickey, Joyce, and Barbra.

Betty deeply loved her family. She enjoyed visiting with friends and attending church whenever possible. She found joy in watching birds from her apartment window and cherished the simple, peaceful moments of everyday life. She lived her life with quiet grace, offering kindness, faith, and love to everyone she met. Her warm spirit and gentle presence will be deeply missed.

A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
