Goldsboro Christmas Parade to Roll Through Downtown Saturday, Rain or Shine

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Holiday cheer will take over downtown Goldsboro this weekend as the Annual Goldsboro Christmas Parade steps off Saturday at 4:00 p.m. — rain or shine.

City officials say preparations are underway to welcome residents and visitors for an evening filled with festive floats, marching bands, community groups, and a special visit from Santa Claus.

To ensure the parade route remains clear and safe for participants and spectators, several downtown streets will temporarily close ahead of the event. All vehicles must be removed from designated streets by 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6. Any vehicles left parked after that deadline will be towed.

Street Closures Include:

  • Center Street (North & Southbound) — from Ash Street to Elm Street
  • Spruce Street — from George Street to John Street
  • Pine Street — from George Street to John Street
  • James Street — from Spruce Street to Elm Street

A map of the parade route and closures has been provided by the city to help attendees plan ahead.

Organizers encourage families to arrive early, dress for the weather, and get ready to enjoy an evening of holiday excitement as downtown Goldsboro kicks off the Christmas season in style.
