GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating an early-morning shooting after a man arrived at UNC Health Wayne with a gunshot wound on November 27, 2025.
Police say officers were called to the hospital around 3:11 a.m. after the victim, identified as 33-year-old Eric Lee Mosley of Goldsboro, arrived by private vehicle seeking treatment. Mosley was treated for his injuries and has since been discharged.
Detectives are working to determine where the shooting occurred and what led to the incident. No additional details have been released.
