GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Wayne Community College is hosting a free science event for children, led by biology students in WCC’s Honors Program and science faculty.
WCC Science Night will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. on the College’s main campus in Goldsboro.
Children are invited to participate in hands-on scientific activities such as making air cannons, extracting DNA from strawberries, using scientific keys to identify unknown organisms, and learning about the sense of smell. The activities are designed for kids ages four through 12.
Space is limited to 60 participants who must be accompanied by an adult. Register here to attend the event.
