Goldsboro, N.C. — The City of Goldsboro is asking residents to share their input and help shape the future of their community through the City’s first-ever community survey.
As part of ongoing strategic planning efforts, the City has partnered with ETC Institute, one of the nation’s leading governmental research firms, to gather feedback from residents about City services, programs, and priorities. The survey is designed to measure satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and guide decisions that reflect community needs.
Selected households across Goldsboro will receive a mailed survey packet, which includes a postage-paid return envelope. Residents can also complete the survey online at Goldsborosurvey.org. The survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete, and all responses will remain confidential.
The survey is available in Spanish and Haitian Creole.
To encourage participation, those who complete the survey will have the opportunity to win one of five $100 Visa gift cards. Survey results will be compiled and analyzed by ETC Institute, with findings presented to the Goldsboro City Council at a public meeting in early 2026.
For questions about the survey, please contact Octavius Murphy, Strategic and Community Initiatives Manager, at 919-580-4351 or [email protected].
