Jimmy Douglas Huffman passed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Born in Covington, Tennessee on December 25, 1929, he was son to the late Tobe Huffman and Pearl Fry Huffman.

Jimmy honorably served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Midway during the Korean War. Upon completing his military service, he embarked on a long and distinguished career with Exxon Oil Company, from which he retired after many years of dedicated service.

Jimmy is survived by his three children, Steve Huffman (Ann), Cathy Huffman (Bill) and Tim Huffman (Helen); and his grandson, Daniel Huffman (Kristi).

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Louise Barnhardt Huffman.

A service to honor Jimmy will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, which Jimmy loved.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Jimmy to, First Presbyterian Church, 1101 E Ash St, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
