Man in Critical Condition After Goldsboro Shooting

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A 29-year-old Goldsboro man is in critical condition following a shooting late Friday night on Sherard Court.

Da’Shaun Tyree Webb was transported to ECU Health Medical Center after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in an incident that occurred around 10:37 p.m. on Oct. 11, 2025.

Officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a disturbance call at the Sherard Court address, where they discovered Webb suffering from several gunshot wounds. Wayne County EMS transported the victim to UNC Health Wayne before he was transferred to ECU Health Medical Center due to the severity of his injuries.

The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau and Crime Scene Unit have initiated a criminal investigation into the shooting. Authorities have not released information about potential suspects or what led to the disturbance.

The investigation remains ongoing.
