This week’s WGBR Pet of the Week powered by Jackson & Sons features Trey! Trey is a one-year-old male domestic shorthair mix who has captured the hearts of everyone at the Wayne County Animal Shelter.
Trey is described as the “sweetest love” — a gentle, affectionate cat who wants nothing more than to be part of a family. When Trey first arrived at the shelter, he had suffered an injury and was paralyzed. Thanks to the care of a local veterinarian and his own determination, Trey has made remarkable progress. He has regained about 75 percent of his mobility and continues to improve every day.
Despite his challenges, Trey’s spirit is unshakable. He loves attention, gives endless affection, and is eager to find a forever home where he can continue his journey of recovery surrounded by love.
If you’re looking for a loyal, inspiring, and affectionate companion, Trey could be the perfect match for you. Visit the Wayne County Animal Shelter to meet him and give this sweet boy the second chance he deserves.
