Unity Community Launches Monthly Training and Networking Initiative for Spiritual Educators

New program aims to support teachers, pastors, and parents with innovative peace education resources

WAYNE COUNTY, NC – Unity spiritual educators and community leaders will gather for an inaugural monthly training and networking call designed to enhance children’s spiritual education programs across multiple faith communities.

The first session is scheduled for Thursday, September 4, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM EDT, conducted entirely online to accommodate participants nationwide. The sessions are offered free of charge to all participants.

Expanding Educational Resources

The initiative, organized by Spiritual Playdate, focuses on providing Unity teachers, pastors, and parents with fresh resources and innovative approaches to engage children in spiritual learning. The program emphasizes a holistic and interactive Peace Education curriculum suitable for both school and home environments.

Inclusive Community Approach

While primarily targeting Unity communities, the program extends its welcome to members of other New Thought organizations, including Centers for Spiritual Living (CSL), Foundations for Better Living, and Religious Science practitioners.

The monthly calls will serve as a platform for participants to discover new educational tools, share best practices, and develop strategies for growing their spiritual communities through enhanced children’s programming. All sessions are provided at no cost to encourage widespread participation across faith communities.

Focus on Holistic Development

Central to the initiative is the concept of “Social, Emotional & Spiritual Learning for Kids and Their Grownups,” which integrates traditional spiritual education with contemporary understanding of child development and family dynamics.

Interested participants can join the online gathering to connect with fellow educators and explore collaborative opportunities in spiritual education for children.

The program represents a growing trend toward community-based support systems for spiritual educators seeking to adapt traditional teachings for contemporary family structures and educational environments.
