GOLDSBORO, NC – A new art exhibition featuring the dynamic works of local artist Anne Croom opens Friday September 5th at 139 West Walnut Street, bringing a vibrant collection of abstract paintings to downtown Goldsboro.
“Abstracts from Nature,” which runs through September 26, showcases Croom’s distinctive approach to mixed media art, combining traditional painting techniques with ink, pencil, and oil crayon elements. The exhibition features both abstracted floral compositions and non-representational works that emphasize the relationship between color and texture.
Croom’s artistic vision centers on creating what organizers describe as “a richly layered visual experience” through her exploration of natural themes rendered in abstract form. The mixed media approach allows the artist to build depth and complexity within each piece, offering viewers multiple entry points for interpretation and appreciation.
The exhibition will be open to the public, September 5th, Friday morning at 10:00 AM and will remain on display through 6:00 PM on September 26. Gallery hours and additional information about the artist’s work can be obtained by contacting the venue directly.
The West Walnut Street location provides an intimate setting for visitors to engage with Croom’s artistic exploration of nature’s forms and colors, translated through her unique abstract lens. The exhibition represents a significant showcase of contemporary local artistic talent in the Goldsboro arts community.
For those interested in contemporary abstract art or supporting local artists, “Abstracts from Nature” offers an opportunity to experience Croom’s distinctive artistic voice and her innovative approach to mixed media techniques.
