WAYNE COUNTY, NC — A 35-year-old woman was arrested Saturday evening following an investigation into a domestic-related assault with a deadly weapon at Busco Beach, according to local authorities.
Tynisha Tyshell Jenkins was taken into custody at approximately 9:24 p.m. on July 26, 2025, after investigators recovered a stolen firearm during their response to the incident. Jenkins was transported to the Wayne County Detention Center, where she was held on a $5,000 secured bond.
Jenkins faces three felony charges:
- Breaking or entering a motor vehicle (1 count)
- Larceny of a firearm (1 count)
- Possession of a stolen firearm. (1 count)
