Robert Ham Massengill, Sr., 87, of Princeton passed away at his home on August 11, 2025.  He was born in Johnston County on May 30, 1938 to the late Walton Everette Massengill and Melba Jean Johnson Massengill.   In addition, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Rains. 

He is survived by his wife, Edna Grace Holt Massengill; son:  Robert Massengill, Jr. of Pikeville; daughter:  Monica Jo Littleton of Raleigh; three Grandchildren:  Jeremy, Amber and Brandon, and 7 Great Grandchildren. 

There will be no formal services at this time.
