Rosa Lee Patrick Taylor, 86, of La Grange went to be with her Lord Thursday, July 31, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Homegoing service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Holly Grove FWB Church in La Grange. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Lenoir County on June 24, 1939 to the late Harrison Patrick Sr. and Rozetta Patrick. She was a faithful member of Holly Grove FWB Church of La Grange where she was a past choir member.

Cherishing her memories include three sons, James L. Taylor, Allen Ray Taylor and Joe Patrick Jr. (Patricia), all of La Grange; two daughters, Barbara Taylor of La Grange and Rose Brown (Maurice) of Kinston; four goddaughters, Emma Sutton (Jimmy) of La Grange, Gail Morgan of La Grange, Sandra Hardy of La Grange and Michele Jones (Ivey) of Kinston; one sister, Mamie Doris Patrick Tyson of Raleigh; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren and her beloved cat, Shadow.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Allen Taylor; her son, Samuel D. Warren and her granddaughter, Ashley Patron.
