Teresia Jarman Stringfield, 71, of Mt. Olive departed this earthly life Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wayne County on October 26, 1953 to the late Samuel Lacey and Annie Budd Jarman.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. with a celebration of her life following at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
She was retired from O’berry Center and later served in Home Health Care with Xeon of Mt. Olive. She was a devoted family‑oriented individual whose warm, open nature makes every guest and loved one feel genuinely welcomed—embodying the spirit of heartfelt hospitality. In her downtime, she loved watching true‑crime documentaries.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Stringfield of Mt. Olive; two sisters, Deloris Faison of Goldsboro and Linda Joyce Langley of Dudley; one grandchild, Eden Bierowski; her beloved FurBabies, Donald, Melania, Pearl, Phelps and Lilly and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
