CLAYTON, N.C. — A unique blend of artistic expression and meaningful conversation comes to Clayton this summer as the Sister Circle organization hosts its “Ladies Night Paint and Sip” event on Saturday, July 26, designed to foster connection and self-reflection among women in the community.
The adults-only gathering, scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m. on North Carolina Highway 42 in Clayton, promises participants an evening that goes beyond traditional paint-and-sip activities. Organizers describe the event as “more than a night out—it’s a space to reconnect, reflect, and restore.”

The evening’s programming centers around guided conversations exploring the difference between hearing and truly listening—a theme organizers say addresses how people often “drift” in daily life, “nodding without presence, speaking without truly being heard.”
Participants will receive entry to what organizers call a “cozy, soulful space,” along with food and beverages including pizza, salad, beer, and wine. Each attendee will also participate in a canvas painting session while engaging in what organizers term “unfiltered heart talk with your sisters.”
The Sister Circle event aims to create an environment where women can “paint, share, laugh, be fed (in every sense), and maybe even meet a new soul sister,” according to promotional materials.
The organization has implemented a no-refund policy, with all sales being final. Admission is $50.
