Tanyia Marie Anderson, a devoted wife, faithful servant, and hardworking soul, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength.

Born May 20, 1956 in Valdosta GA to the late Jack and Joyce Marie Moore, Tanyia was rooted in family and faith from the beginning. She carried those values throughout her life, always putting others before herself and offering a warm smile and helping hand to all who knew her.

Tanyia worked as a cook and cashier at a local restaurant, where she was known not just for her dedication and work ethic, but for the genuine care she showed to each customer and co-worker. Her presence brought comfort, and her kindness left a lasting impression.

A devoted member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro, Tanyia’s faith was an anchor in her life. She cherished her church family and found joy in worship, community, and serving others.

She was a loving and loyal wife to her husband, Charles Norwood Anderson, with whom she shared a life of love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, faith, and enduring partnership.

Tanyia will be remembered for her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and the quiet strength she carried through every season of life. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Her memory will forever linger in the hearts of her husband, Charles N. Anderson; daughter, Joyanna Vaughn of Seven Springs; son, Charles N. Roberts (wife, Susan) of Seven Springs; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sonyia Douglas of Trade TN and Teresa Fowler of Alabama; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is now reunited in eternal peace with her parents, Jack and Joyce Marie Moore.
