Ann Grady Fisher

Ann Grady Fisher

 July 2, 2025, 81, Goldsboro —

Ann Grady Fisher, 81, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior who she loved and adored on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at her home, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Born in Wayne County on June 2, 1944, Ann was the daughter of the late Preston and Gertrude Price. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Delton C. Grady; her sister, Mary Lou Stevens; and her brothers, Donald Price and Linwood Price.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, and Great-Nana whose life was centered around her family and faith. Alongside her late husband, Del, she co-owned and operated Sandhill Motors—a business built not just on service, but on trust and community. She worshipped faithfully with her family at Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church as long as her health allowed.

Ann found great joy in spending time with her loved ones and will be remembered for her deep love for her family and friends and her ability to make everyone feel special. She had a special fondness for shopping and never passed up the chance to find a good bargain.

Following the passing of her first husband, Ann was blessed to find love again. She and Daniel E. Fisher were married for six happy years, during which they became devoted companions, often traveling together and making cherished memories along the way.

Ann is survived by her loving husband, Daniel E. Fisher; daughters, Angie Gardner and husband Chuck, and Lisa Lewis and husband Shelton; grandchildren, Haley Wiggins and husband Brady, Chase Gardner and fiancée Grace, Justin Lewis and wife Hannah, and Garrett Lewis and wife Kaylin; and great-grandchildren, Braylee, Rayden, Ada, Emerson, Maggie, Rowan, Wyatt, and Jensen. She is also survived by Daniel’s children, Douglas Fisher and wife Hannah, Kelly Barrow and husband Ron, and Pamela Reed and husband Mike; and by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Bonnie Price and Kay and Harold Grady.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and will also be at the home to welcome friends on Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. A private graveside service for the family will be held at Wayne Memorial Park.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Gentiva Hospice for the exceptional care, compassion, and support they provided to Ann. A special thank you to nurses Nikki, Bridget, and Amber, whose kindness and attentiveness brought comfort during difficult days.

The family is also deeply thankful for the dedicated caregivers who so lovingly cared not only for Ann, but for those around her, as well. Your presence was a true blessing. With special appreciation to Lisa Davis, Angie Sanders, Samantha Beavers, and Barbara Millard and her team —your devotion and compassion will never be forgotten.

May God bless each of you in a very special way for the care and comfort you gave so generously.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ann’s memory to Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 130 Ed Edmundson Road, Mount Olive, NC 28365.

Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
