Deborah Jean “Debbie”Jones Singleton, 71, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Bobby Ray Singleton of the home; her daughter, Kelly Singleton of Mount Olive; and her twin sons, Bobby Ray “B.J.” Singleton and wife Tammy, and James Brian Singleton, all of Mount Olive. Also surviving are her sister, Linda Strickland of Mount Olive; her brother, Mitchel Jones, also of Mount Olive; and two beloved grandchildren, Hannah and Brilee Singleton.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bessie Tripp Jones. Known for her love of baseball and any sport her family played, Debbie was always on the sidelines cheering them on. She took great pride in being a devoted wife, loving mother, and a strong woman who cared deeply for those around her. Debbie also enjoyed her time on the water fishing. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 18, at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Tyndall Funeral Home, with Pastor Stanley Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon at the funeral home and at other times at Debbie’s home off Emmaus Church Road. Burial will follow the service at Wayne Memorial Park, Dudley.
