Joshua “Josh” Seth Thomas, 44, of Pikeville passed away after a extended illness on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service.
 

Josh was born in California on August 3, 1980 to Mark M. Thomas and Janet L. Thomas.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Seth Thomas of Fuquay-Varina; two daughters, Amelia Thomas of Pikeville and Ansley Thomas of Fuquay-Varina; two brothers, Jeramiah Thomas of Pikeville (Vicki) and Mark G. “Bubba” Thomas (Deanna) of Pikeville; two sisters, Diana Holland (Brandon) of Pikeville and Kaitlin Thomas (Donny) of Pikeville; numerous nieces and nephews, including his special little buddy, Henry; The “Wolfpack” and his close friends.
