Wayne County, N.C. — The Partnership for Children of Wayne County is extending an open invitation to businesses, faith-based organizations, civic clubs, and other community groups to learn how they can actively contribute to improving the lives of young children and families across the region.
As part of its ongoing community outreach, the organization is offering on-site presentations designed to inform local groups about the importance of early childhood development and the many ways the Partnership is working to support children from birth to age five. These sessions aim to educate attendees on the critical early years of a child’s life and how community collaboration can lead to long-term, positive outcomes.
The presentation includes:
- An overview of the Partnership’s core programs, including childcare quality enhancement, family support services, early literacy efforts, and health initiatives.
- Information on resources available to families, educators, and service providers, such as parenting education programs, developmental screenings, and referrals to childcare assistance.
- Opportunities for organizations to get involved, whether through volunteering, sponsorship, resource sharing, or collaborative community events.
Early childhood development is a foundational factor in long-term educational success, economic mobility, and community health. The Partnership for Children of Wayne County works to ensure all children enter school ready to succeed by improving access to high-quality early education and strengthening family support systems.
By participating in these presentations, local groups can better understand how to align their efforts with existing services and initiatives that promote school readiness and healthy development for young children in Wayne County.
Organizations interested in scheduling a presentation can contact Blair Cox at 919-735-3371 ext. 229 or email [email protected]. To learn more about the Partnership’s programs and mission, visit www.pfcw.org.
