Raymond Anthony Cole, Jr., 77, of Princeton passed away at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield on Friday, May 9, 2025.  He was born in Saugerties, New York on July 06, 1947 to the late Raymond Anthony Cole and Theresa Greco Cole.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Christopher Cole and infant sons, Adam and Eric as well as a sister Ramona Schermerhorn.

He is survived by sons, Anthony “Tony” Cole (Tina) of Princeton and Kevin Cole (Kelly) of Clayton; daughter, Rachel Cain (Mike) of Fayetteville; sister, Carmella Burlarley (Mike) of Accord, New York; grandchildren, Abby Hardee (Greg), Desirea Cole, Elizabeth Cole, Emily Cole, Jazmine Morris, Preston Cole and Cierra Zeko; great grandchildren, Ethan, Brayden, Bentlee, William, Everleigh, Ryder, Holden, Kenslee, Lilith, Gracelynn, Ryleigh, Vicente; niece, Lisa and nephews, William and Erik, step daughters, Alyssa Fuller (Drew) and Amanda Houghtaling.

A service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Eastern Carolina State VA Cemetery at 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC  27534.
