Goldsboro, N.C. — In a stirring celebration of honor, remembrance, and patriotism, the United States Air Force Heritage Brass will perform a free Memorial Day weekend concert at the Paramount Theatre on Sunday, May 25 at 3 p.m.
This powerful musical tribute is dedicated to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.
The Heritage Brass, a 14-member symphonic brass ensemble, is part of the acclaimed U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band. Known for their bold brass, driving percussion, and rich vocal performances, the ensemble brings the time-honored tradition of military music to life in a format that is both exhilarating and deeply moving.
Representing the dedication and professionalism of Air Force members serving worldwide, the group’s concerts span the eastern U.S., performing everywhere from grand concert halls to school auditoriums, military ceremonies, and sporting events. Their repertoire includes orchestral transcriptions, patriotic anthems, jazz standards, and contemporary selections — offering something for every listener.
“Heritage Brass is more than just a musical group,” event organizers said. “They are ambassadors of the U.S. Air Force, using the universal language of music to honor our fallen heroes, inspire patriotism, and connect communities.”
Beyond their musical talents, each member of Heritage Brass is an active-duty Airman, committed to service both on and off the stage. Their performances serve to honor veterans, support military recruitment, and foster community connections.
The concert is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Attendees are encouraged to reserve seats in advance at www.goldsboroparamount.com/usafhb.
