Goldsboro, N.C. — A two-vehicle accident involving a 2014 Ford and a 2009 Chevrolet occurred on North Carolina Street, prompting a traffic citation and temporary disruption in the area.

According to the Goldsboro Police Department, the incident took place as Car one was traveling east on West Grantham Street. The driver of Car one reported that Car two entered their lane and sideswiped them. In contrast, the driver of Car two claimed that Car one merged into their lane, resulting in the collision.

After assessing the scene and the damages to both vehicles, authorities determined that Car one was at fault and issued a citation for unsafe movement.

No injuries were reported, and the roadway was cleared shortly after the incident.
