Goldsboro, N.C. — A traumatic single-vehicle crash late Saturday afternoon sent one person to the hospital and drew an emergency response from Goldsboro Fire Station 1 and the Goldsboro Police Department.
The incident occurred at the traffic circle located at Ash Street and North Center Street. According to initial reports, a Jeep traveling west on Ash Street struck the concrete curbing of the circle, narrowly missing a large tree before flipping multiple times.
The vehicle ultimately came to a rest facing east on Ash Street, opposite its original direction of travel. First responders quickly arrived at the scene to assist, and one patient was transported to the hospital with injuries. The condition of the individual has not been released at this time.
The Goldsboro Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
