Goldsboro, N.C. — Music, community, and celebration came together in high energy at Jams Over Wayne, an exciting event held this past weekend as part of the Wings Over Wayne festivities.

For the first time ever, the event was brought off base and into the community, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Crowds filled the area to enjoy an evening of music, food, and military appreciation in downtown Goldsboro.

Local Curtis Media DJs kept the energy high with a lively set, followed by a live performance from Dreamwave that had the crowd dancing into the evening.

Attendees also enjoyed a variety of food trucks, providing everything from savory bites to sweet treats, while fans had the rare opportunity to take photos with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and meet the team in person during a special introduction.

The event was made possible by a group of wonderful sponsors and supporters, coming together to celebrate the community and honor the Air Force personnel who call Seymour Johnson AFB home.

Jams Over Wayne proved to be a successful new tradition, bringing the spirit of Wings Over Wayne into the heart of the city.
