The Goldsboro Police Department has announced that its beloved K-9 Lark has passed away.
The GPD posted the news on its Facebook page on Thursday.
Lark was the loyal partner of officer Christian Brady.
The online announcement read:
The Goldsboro Police Department is saddened to announce the passing of K-9 Lark, a loyal and dedicated partner to Officer Christian Brady.
K-9 Lark served with distinction in drug interdiction, searches, and tracking, playing a crucial role in keeping our community safe. Beyond his service, he was a beloved member of Officer Brady’s family, sharing an unbreakable bond both on and off duty.
We honor K-9 Lark’s dedication and sacrifice. Please keep Officer Brady and his family in your thoughts as we remember this courageous and faithful partner.
