William Graham Shaw, 88, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. He was born in Richlands, NC to the late Dudley Graham Shaw, Jr. and Rosalyn Cox Shaw on December 26, 1936. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Colin Shaw.

Mr. Shaw retired in Goldsboro as the district manager of Pilot Life Insurance Company. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family, which he loved dearly.

A private service for the family will be held by the graveside at Harmony Presbyterian Church in Kerr Station, NC.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patsy Farmer Shaw; daughter, Betsy S. Hamilton and husband, Sean; granddaughter, Kathryn Gray Hamilton; sisters, Mary Nell Anderson and husband, John and Roberta Smith and husband, David; brother, Robinson M. Shaw and wife, Pam; and several nieces and nephews he loved very much.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in his memory to one’s favorite local charity.
