The following schedule changes will take place in observance of New Year’s Day:

• County of Wayne Government Offices will be closed Wednesday, January 1, 2025, and will reopen Thursday, January 2, 2025, for regular business hours.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will close at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, and will be closed on Wednesday, January 1. All branches will reopen on Thursday, January 2, for regular business hours.
• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed on Wednesday, January 1. The senior center will reopen on Thursday, January 2, for regular business hours.
• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed on Wednesday, January 1. The landfill and convenience centers will reopen on Thursday, January 2, for regular business hours.
