Henry Carroll Norris, 82, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at Somerset Court in Goldsboro. Henry was born in Lenoir County to the late Henry P. Norris and Dorothy Peacock Norris on February 9, 1942. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Ward Norris; and a sister, Linda N. Owens.

Henry faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force.

A service of love and remembrance with military honors will be held at the graveside on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Westview Cemetery.

Henry is survived by his children, Jerry Norris (Amy), Buddy Norris (Beth), Yvonne Overstreet (Wayne), and Michelle Mitchell (Neil); step-daughter, Missy Donavant (Billy); grandchildren, Murphy Norris, Jeremy Norris, Danielle Garriss, Christina Overstreet, Tyler Mitchell, Stacey Donavant, and Sidney Donavant; great-grandchildren, Colton Garriss and Keira Garriss; siblings, Billie Norris, T D Norris (Teresa), and Harold Norris; and niece and nephews, Christy, Michael, and Donnie.
