Ronnie Cecil Holland, 69, of Goldsboro passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family.

No formal service will be held.

Mr. Holland was born in Johnston County on April 5, 1955, to the late Cecil and Mildred Coffey Holland.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Holland; his daughter, Kristie Jarmusz and husband, Gregory of Maryland; step-son, Darrell Kornegay, and wife, Laura of Pink Hill; step-daughter, Ashley Briggs, and husband, Brandon of Goldsboro; two brothers, Butch Holland and wife, Brenda of Princeton and Melvin Earl Holland and wife, Diane of Kenly; one sister, Wanda Jones and husband, Kenneth of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Taylor Lee and husband, Tyler, Phoenix Kornegay and wife, Hailey, Isaiah Ball, Addyson Jarmusz, Libby Kornegay, Maxene Kornegay, and Madilyn Briggs; his great-grandchildren, Emersyn and Kinsley Lee Sydney Kornegay and his special friend and fishing buddy, Gregg Womack.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven Holland.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation at the home.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
