Mr. James Aaron Simmons, 72, completed his final earthly assignment on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Legacy Memory Care, Kinston, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 4:00 pm with a viewing from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a private interment.

He was born on May 23, 1952, in Lenoir County, NC Aaron Simmons and Ava Grady Simmons. He is survived by his wife, Tonette Speight Simmons; his children, and other loving relatives and friends.
