Linda Grant Holland, 79, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at UNC Health Wayne, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Greene County on May 28, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and Annie Bruce Taylor Grant.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Billy Rose Holland; brother, Thomas Earl Grant; and sister, Eleanor Rose “Tootsie” Brogden.

Linda is survived by her; sons, Jeff Holland and Brent Holland, and wife, Ginger; daughter, Jennifer Holland; grandchildren, Peyton Holland, and Skylar Holland.

Linda was a dedicated and faithful member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro where she was active in the Ladies Auxillary.

Linda retired from BellSouth after 30 years of service.  Following her retirement, she worked alongside her husband, Billy at his store, Holland Auto Parts.

Family was paramount to Linda. Her life was dedicated to helping her husband, Billy, and supporting him in all aspects of his life. Linda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, they were the light of her life.

A graveside service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Holland Hill Cemetery in Pinkney with Pastor Fred Crank officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.  The address to the cemetery is 1252 Pinkney Road, Pikeville, NC 27863.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Victory Free Will Baptist Church, 1806 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534, or to the charity of your choice.
