YOUR SEYMOUR SALUTE

Every week, Your Seymour Salute highlights an airman serving at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

Originally from Nepal, AIC Sanjay Budhatoki is a key member of the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron team as an Engineering Apprentice.

A1C Budhathoki led a small survey crew to identify and map out several hundred grounding points on the airfield to ensure the safety of all parked aircraft during the 2023 Wings over Wayne Airshow.

A1C Budhathoki further contributed to the event by developing a comprehensive parking plan to identify the placement of 55 aircraft, 115 vendors, and 215 wing assets.

In addition, A1C Budhathoki validated space authorization and allocations for eight facilities for 4 FW/CC approvals, directly supporting ACC Lead Wing A-Staff efforts and ensuring operational capabilities for Agile Combat Employment.

A1C Budhathoki was also the lead draftsman for the planning of Exercise Southern Strike 2023 by developing 20 maps highlighting the location of critical facilities at the exercise installation. More recently, he accomplished all the requirements to become a US citizen and garnered his citizenship.

A1C Budhathoki’s dedication and skills have made him an invaluable asset to the CES team.
