February 22, 2024, 70, Smithfield —

Richard Lee Walsh, Sr., 70, of Smithfield, passed away Monday evening at UNC Johnston Health.  He was born March 2, 1953, in Monroe, NC to the late Charles Walsh, Sr. and Rosemary Bliss Walsh.  He was the widow of Linda Sue Boring.

In lieu of a formal service, a visitation will be held for friends and family at The First Church in Goldsboro on Monday, February 26th from 7 – 8 pm.
