Virginia Ann “Ginger” Potts Daniels, 66, completed her earthly journey on Friday, December 15, 2023. Ginger was born in Wayne County, one of seven children, to the late Hugh Norman Potts and Bessie Parrish Potts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Billy Ray Daniels; sisters, Shirley Peek and Nancy Jane Potts; and brother, Wayne Earl Potts, Sr.

Ginger married the love of her life, Billy, and they made quite the home together. She loved being a wife and mother. She wanted to make sure her husband and family were loved and cared for.

One of Ginger’s greatest joys was having her family around her. And there was something extra special about her grandchildren. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them.

A service to celebrate Ginger’s life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 23, 2023, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The family will receive friends in the hour before the service at the funeral home.

Ginger is survived by her son, Anthony Tilghman; step-son, Harlan Daniels and wife, Blair; step-daughter, Julie Rose and husband, David; grandchildren, Jarrod Tilghman, Adalyn Tilghman; Laura Bunn (Joey), Andrew Rose, Olivia Daniels, Katelyn Daniels and Chloe Daniels. She is also survived by her sisters, Debra “Debbie” Mitchell, Mary Potts and Angela “Angie” Holmes, and husband, Michael; and several nieces and nephews she loved very much.
