DUDLEY — Firefighters from Indian Springs and several EMS units were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle accident with a possible pin-in at the intersection of Emmaus Church Road and PineviewCemetery Road.
Firefighters had to remove the windshield in order to free one of the people involved in the accident who was taken to the hospital. The intersection was blocked by both vehicles involved in the accident. Amedical helicopter that was en route was diverted to the hospital.Charges are pending on both drivers due to the outcome of the investigation by the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
