Mr. Gene G. Blake, 82, transitioned from the earthly place on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. No formal services will be held.

He was born on January 1, 1941, in Robeson County, NC to Stacy Blake and Sallie Willis Blake. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Butler Blake; children, and other loving relatives and friends.
