James Edwin Hoefar, 58, passed away on April 23, 2023, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Chandler, Arizona on April 29, 1964, he was the son of the late Darl Hoefar and Bernice Reynolds Hoefar.

James worked many years with AP Exhaust as a welder. When not at work, James could be seen tinkering around the house, always building something or working on different projects. When looking for some relaxation, he could be found with a rod and reel in hand down by the water fishing.

Per his request, no formal services will be held.

James is survived by his wife, Margaret Matyjasik Hoefar; son, Shane Hoefar; granddaughter, Cheyenne; sisters, Darla Armfield, Cathy Atkisson, and Sherry Brown; step-mother, Virginia Hoefar; and step-children, Ruth Smith and Christopher Evans.

Services have been entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home.
