Saturday afternoon firefighters from Mount Olive were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of NC 403 and Summerlin crossroad road at Rones Chapel.

The Oak Wolfe fire department was also dispatched to the scene along with a medic truck from Duplin County. Both drivers of the vehicles were checked out by EMS personnel and no one was taken to the hospital. Firefighters set up traffic control around the scene.

The accident is being investigated by the North Carolina Highway Patrol. This Accident happened at the new 4-way stop at Rones Chapel.
