One man has been arrested after he failed to stop during a traffic stop.  Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office DWI Task Force observed a red SUV driving with no lights. When deputies attempted to stop the SUV, the driver failed to stop for the blue lights and sirens.  After a pursuit within the city limits, the vehicle was stopped by using stop sticks.  The driver, 18-year-old Demarko Devon Briggs Jr of Goldsboro was taken into custody and charged with Felony Flee to Elude, Driving While After Consuming under 21, Possess Marijuana up to ½ oz., Carry Concealed Gun x2, Fail to Burn Headlamps, and Fail to stop at Red light.
