A crowd of residents and friends of the Seven Springs Community met at the Granddaughter Center in downtown Seven Springs for their annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. The event got underway at 6 p.m. with a band singing Christmas music followed by the reading of the names of a loved one who had passed away in the past year by Mrs. Teachey .
While the guest and friends were placing Christmas Ornaments on the tree in honor and remembrance of their loved one, the Jolly old fellow in the bright red suit made a special visit to see and talk to the children.
