Ronald Hugh Hill, 67, passed away at Wayne Memorial Hospital on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Ronald was born in Lenoir County to the late Ernest Nathan “Jack” Hill and Katie Mae Duff Hill. He lived his life sharing his love, humor, and stories with those around him.

To say Ronald was a people person is an understatement. He never met a stranger and enjoyed being in the company of others. You knew if Ronald was in the room. His presence was evident in most any situation. He enjoyed keeping people laughing and Ronald’s heart was as big as his presence. He was willing to help anyone he could. If this meant taking his neighbors to the store or visiting his friends, he was there. Ronald even had a love for animals. Tammie’s dog, Reese, felt like his own and he was ready to care for him at any time. His kindness is already missed.

Ronald loved the Lord and he loved his church. 902 Church was where he found a home and he worshiped his Lord. It’s also where he had the opportunity to share his gifts of laughter and kindness.

A Graveside Service to celebrate Ronald’s life will be held at the Hill Cemetery, 2456 Smith Grady Rd, Deep Run, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 2 pm with visitation following at the graveside.

Ronald is survived by his siblings, Pat Stroud, Judy Jackson, Tony Hill, Sr. (Bertha); along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant twin brother, Donald.
