November 16, 2022, 63, Dudley –

Mary Ellen Parks Kornegay, a resident of the Dudley area, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the age of 63.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin Morris Parks, and Mary Elizabeth Owens Parks; a grandson, Anthony Castillo; a brother, Ervin Parks; and a sister, Joyce Ann Parks Tripp.

Mary is survived by her fiancee, Tim Howard; two daughters, Rhonda Aguilar and Jessica Roberts, both of Dudley; four grandchildren, Jocelin Aguilar, Briana, Adriana, and Gabriel Lope;; a brother, Morris Jr. Parks, and wife, Linda, of Mount Olive; two sisters, Betty Parks Jordan and husband, Donald, of Dudley, and Dorothy Parks Strickland and husband, Herman, of Seven Springs; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 19, at 2 pm. at Tyndall Funeral Home.  Officiating will be the Rev. Charles Boyd.

Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m.
