Tuesday morning firefighters from Pleasant Grove, Albertson, Oak Wolfe, and Pricetown along with Duplin County EMS were dispatched to the scene of a structure fire in the 100 block of Outlaw Bridge Road
in Northern Duplin County. Firefighters quickly gained entry into the residence and spotted the source of the fire. They quickly brought that area under control using multiple attack lines. A hole was cut into the
roof to allow ventilation of smoke and heat to escape through the roof. Most of the damage was contained inside the structure.
Fireground incident officers and the members of the Duplin County Fire Marshal Office are looking into what may have caused the fire.
