Fall Festival Draws a Crowd to Farmers Market

Fall Festival Draws a Crowd to Farmers Market

Perfect weather Saturday for the annual Fall Festival at the Farmers Market. The crowd
was steady throughout the day. People began to venture out to look over the vendors that
were set up in the parking lot of the Maxwell Center and in the Farm Credit Farmers Market. Everything from the pickle train, a hay ride around the field, fire trucks, and several vehicles from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department was there to entertain and educate both young and old. . Inside the Farmers Market vendors sold produce, honey, and even crafts. Children could enter a pumpkin decorating contest.

The farmers market hours are through October are Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. &  Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
