Late Sunday afternoon firefighters from Princeton and Seven Springs along with an EMS truck were dispatched to the scene of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of NC 55 East and Camp Juliee Road.
As emergency units arrived on the scene they found a pickup truck flipped upside down in a ditch and a SUV with heavy damage to the back driver side sitting off the roadway.
One person in the upside down truck was taken to the hospital by EMS.
Firefighters set up traffic control at the intersection while the Highway Patrol conducted their investigation and waited on the wreckers services to arrive to clean up the accident.
